Tempe neighborhood battles ongoing irrigation pipe damage

Tally Ho Farms homeowners demand developer Thompson Thrift repair broken irrigation infrastructure ahead of a state inspection. The Tally Ho Farms neighborhood in Tempe, Arizona, has been dealing with ongoing irrigation issues since March due to poor excavation work and failed attempts to fix it. The issue was caused by a contractor for developer Thompson Thrift, Chris Runion, who damaged an irrigation pipe while working on a new shopping center across the street. Runion has reported several unsuccessful attempts to rectify the issue, which has left routine yard work more difficult. The problem has left residents either paying for city water or going without. A complaint has been filed with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and a site inspection is scheduled for Dec. 1. The neighborhood association president, Debbie Keller, has urged Thompson Thrifts to hire a qualified contractor to fix the leak.
