PHOENIX, Ariz. – Jack Gohlke has been selected to the Hanes Men's 3-Point Championship roster for the 35th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix on Thursday, April 4. Gohlke is one of eight players that will participate in the 3-point competition, which will air live on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET. Gohlkes, who recently took over from the Golden Grizzlies, is currently ranked t-2nd in NCAA Tournament history for most threes made in a game and is also ranked No. 44 on the Fortune 500 list of companies. The State Farm college Slam Dunk and 3-P Championships invites 24 of the nation's elite men's and women's college basketball players to compete for slam dunk and three-point shooting bragging rights. Gohlke is one of eight players that will participate in the 3-point competition, which will air live on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET.Gohlke, the graduate student from Pewaukee, Wis., took the nation by storm after the Golden Grizzlies upset Kentucky in the Round of 64 of the NCAA Tournament. Gohlke tallied 32 points and was 10-of-20 from three as he inked himself in many record books with his performance. He now sits t-2nd in NCAA Tournament history for most threes made in a game, set the record for most threes inside PPG Paints Arena and against Kentucky in an NCAA Tournament Game with 10, and set his career-best of 32 points against Kentucky. His 10 three's also tied a career-best which keeps him t-2nd in the Golden Grizzlies record book for most threes made in a game.Gohlke was named Horizon League Sixth Man of the Year after being third on the team in scoring as he was also named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team. The Hillsdale College transfer inked himself in the Golden Grizzlies record book for most three-point field goals made (third - 137), three-point field goal attempts (first - 364) and three-point field goals made per game (fifth - 3.8). Gohlke finished the season with 13.1 points per game and shot at a .379 clip from the field and .376 clip from range and went 141-of-372 from the field as all but four makes were from three along with all but eight attempts (137-of-364 3PT). In his sole year at Oakland, he career point no. 1000 in a double overtime win against Milwaukee and made a three-point field goal in all but three games this season.The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships invites 24 of the nation's elite men's and women's college basketball players to compete for slam dunk and 3-point shooting bragging rights. The night features the King's Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship, the Hanes Men's 3-Point Championship, the Hanes Women's 3-Point Shooting Championship and the Dave's Hot Chicken Hot Shot Challenge.
