Golden State's front office didn't heed coach Steve Kerr's words of caution about the roster over the summer. The Golden State Warriors have fallen behind the line again, dropping their third consecutive game to open the season against the Phoenix Suns. The team was playing without key players such as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Al Horford, Brandin Podziemski, and Kristaps Porziņģis due to rest and injury. Despite these losses, Yaxel Lendeborg and De'Anthony Melton were noted positives, with their defense being shredded early in the season. The decision to re-sign Horford was seen as a crucial addition to the team's championship pedigree and a gamble on Porziľis' future. The Warriors have no idea when or if Porziľi will ever play for them again.
