PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two suspects are in custody after a man was robbed at an ATM in south Phoenix early Thursday morning.

According to Phoenix police, around 4 a.m., two suspects forced a man at gunpoint to drive to an ATM near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road. Authorities say the suspects forced the victim to a store to get money out of the ATM, but the victim was able to run away.

The suspects took off in the victim’s car but were quickly pursued by Phoenix police to a neighborhood near 27th and Southern avenues. The two men tried to bail out of the car and run away but were eventually taken into custody.

Their names and mug shots haven’t been released. The investigation is ongoing.
