Phoenix experienced a close encounter of the PLUR kind during the two-night EDM festival. The annual PHXLIGHTS: Supernova, an annual alien-themed music festival put on by Arizona event promoter Relentless Beats, attracted thousands of electronic dance music fans to the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale. The two-night event featured over two dozen DJs, including DJs such as Kaskade, Seven Lions, NGHTMRE, Deorro, Alleycvt, Valentino Khan and Joyryde. The crowd was largely dressed in costumes inspired by UFO lore or sci-fi flicks, with some wearing costumes inspired to depict aliens.
